SMSA Roads Info

  • Culverts/Driveways - Property owners are responsible for maintaining their driveways in a way that prevents damage to our main road system.  This includes  proper grading, functional ditches and clean culverts that run across their driveway.  The Association is responsible for maintaining or installing culverts that run across roads.

  • Phone Lines Close to Roads - Some phone lines run along ditches and across roads, and may not be buried deep enough to accommodate road and ditch maintenance. Ditch maintenance may result in exposure of a line that hasn’t been buried deep enough. Please email smsaroads@gmail.com if you see any lines exposed, so we can get them re-buried.
