If you are renting your property, have an agent or are running an Airbnb out of your
SMSA property, you need to complete the Rental Registration Form.

In addition to the above, owners of Long Term rental property are required to fill out and return the form below and turn it into Sundance Mt. South Association.



In addition...

  1. Renters should respect the surrounding owner's privacy and quiet enjoyment
    of their property.

  2. Renters should be made aware of and abide by the 15 mph speed limit for
    safety
    and road preservation.

  3. Renters should be made aware of the prohibition of firearms discharge
    in Section 14 of our restrictive covenants.

  4. Renters should be made aware of county ordinances requiring leashing of
    dogs off your property.

  5. Safe Use Of Fire Pits Rule
    6. Rental Poster - Please print and post in your rental property for all renters to read.

We suggest owners secure liability insurance to cover any tortious actions of renters.


You should also become familiar with the Shenandoah and Rockingham County
ordinances related to long and short-term rentals.

Both Counties require quarterly filing of gross receipts from short term rentals.
